Qualifications - Must:
- Hold a valid Dental Assisting diploma from an accredited college, Level II, or hold a copy of NDAEB certification
- Be licensed in the province of British Colombia
- Provide a copy of current First Aid - Level C certification
Description: The Dental Assistant functions as an essential member of the dental
health care team in providing quality dental treatment for the Canadian
Forces. The Dental Assistant will provide chair side assistance to
Military and Civilian Dentists at CFB Esquimalt. Key activities include:
- Taking and processing dental radiographs
- Performs dental laboratory procedures
- Performs sterilization and disinfection procedures on dental instruments
- Provides general clinical and administrative support
