Job Vacancy for Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor in Calgary, AB | Magnum Opi

Qualifications:

• An Engineering degree or equivalent trade experience as a Journeyman Millwright or Journeyman Electrician
• Experience working with ERP system and a maintenance ordering system
• At least 5 years’ of experience supervising staff in a manufacturing maintenance environment with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter, flexible, open-minded and have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and be an energy provider who will be able to drive results
• Developing maintenance employees and other technical staff to form an effective, proactive team that works together to meet production plan and to ensure minimal or no line stoppages
• Must be organized, well-spoken and familiar with working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Be a hands-on leader, able to jump in and assist: 70% of time is spent on the floor

Position Overview:
The Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor will have daily responsibilities to include leading maintenance and mechanical teams to support all departments of the facility with a focus on maximizing machine uptime and labour, and resources.  Will hire, train, supervise, review and discipline employees in the maintenance department.  .
