Requirements:

• Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience, with technical ability in geotechnical engineering
• Bachelors of Science in Engineering (4 year university degree) or equivalent
• Must be eligible to register with Alberta Professional Engineering Association membership (APEGA).

Required skills

• Review of geological models during design of major Upstream and Midstream Oil and Gas projects;
• Geo-hazards, ground investigation planning, supervision and interpretation;
• Slope stability, seismic and water body crossing interpretation and analysis with detailed geological field mapping and landslide diagnosis
• Project management;
• Geotechnical terrain mapping and in site investigation core logging
